About us

The Railway Department is an integral part of the company ZEM Łabędy Sp. z o.o. where railway service is provided within its siding. Siding is located on the premises of Huta Łabędy and the Ferrostal company with a total length of over 25 km. Through our siding there is a connection with the Bumar Łabędy company. Our tasks include rail transport for key clients such as Huta Łabędy and Ferrostal, as well as maintaining the technical and operational efficiency of the railway tracks and their infrastructure.

To conduct the above tasks, we also maintain our own rolling stock (4 diesel locomotives, 50 railway wagons, railway cranes and track machines) and railway traffic control devices. We provide repair services for locomotives and railway wagons for external contractors
 

We have our own machinery stock:

• railway cranes
• motor trolleys
• diesel locomotives
• railway wagons

and technical and renovation facilities:

• inspection and repair workshops
• stations for regeneration of locomotive components
• repair stations with channels and Kutruff lifts
• repair stations for electric locomotive engines
